PHOBIAS
HIYA CHICKAS!

So I am a really wimpy person when it comes to small things, however I will go on any ride or adventure pursuit you throw at me, so I thought I would share with you my 5 weirdest phobias! Enjoy!

  1. Cats - so this is my worst fear and I can't even be in the same room as them because they freak me out too much. However my best friends has 3 cats so it's really hard going to her house and I tend to have a mini panic attack before going there but it has helped my fear a little bit by not having a choice about being there with them.
  2. Chickens - I always feel like they're going to peck me to death ever since I saw a YouTube video of a chicken going crazy and pecking someone loads. But I can deal with this fear as I don't encounter them often.
  3. Eye Contact - this will sound really weird but whenever I make eye contact I feel so awkward and I hate awkward situations so it just gets me all shaky. It will probably lead to trust issues in later life when I finally get a boyfriend but I will just deal with that when I get there.
  4. Dying alone - you may think that everyone has this but I have really low self-confidence (which is why I started blogging) and I can never imagine anyone being interested in me and there is also the pressure that my um and dad met at my age so I feel I should be in a relationship but I'm not. I have countless sleepless nights over this and it one of my biggest worries.
  5. Crowds - this is the most common one as I have to encounter it every day at school but I always feel physically sick in crowds and I don't know why, I just speed walk anywhere to get out of them. I always think I'm going to fall or lose something so I'm constantly going to lessons early or late at school to avoid the crowds. I also always have visions of something embarrassing happening. I think this fear started when I first went to High School and all the older kids used to harass me because I was small (I'm one of the tallest now) and I just hate feeling those awkward situations as you heard earlier.
So that's it my friends! Please can you comment below some ideas for blogs because I'm running out of ideas!

MEMORIES OF 2014
 HIYA CHICKAS!

So today I thought I would show you my cute little project I'm doing this year so I can keep all my memories but in a different way. I have done a Memories jar and I'm going to show you how to make your own!

  1. Find a traditional large jar of any shape or size! Preferably it could be vintage style but whatever takes your fancy!
  2. Decorate it with ribbons, buttons, glitter. Be imaginative!
  3. Label it saying what's going inside e.g. "Memories of 2014"
  4. Write all your notes on pretty paper, one sided and make them as pretty or simple as you like!
  5. Cut all the memories up so they are seperate
  6. Roll them up and tie with matching ribbon from when you decorated your jar!
  7. Pop the in the jar and seal!
  8. Carry this on all year until you have a full jar of all your best memories of 2014!
So that is my first DIY! Sorry for no pictures; my laptop has broken so I am having to blog on my iPad and it's a lot harder!

BUCKET LIST
HIYA CHICKAS!

So today I am going to do a Bucket List because I thought it might cheer you all up from yesterday's blog which was a bit depressing but I had to get it out there and off my chest! One thing that is helping my confidence loads is that O HAVE NEARLY 600 PAGEVIEWS! That is actually amazing and I thought it would be just my friends that were watching but they can't watch it 600 times so thank you so much and it really is helping me with my confidence. So here's today's blog!

  1. Work in Disneyland - this has literally been my dream since I went to Disneyland in 2004 and  ever since I have known that at some point in my life I will be Snow White because I look kinda like her! I just think it would be the most amazing job to see little children's dreams come true at the sight of you and it would be really humbling,
  2. Go to Africa - this is kinda already going to come true because next year I am doing a similar thing in Dominican Republic where I will be helping people in poverty, but I would love to go to Africa to see the wildlife, but also to see and help the people because we are so lucky to be in the position we are in so I think we owe it to ourselves to go and see how they live and help them in some way.
  3. See One Direction - this is a more selfish one but I am so unlucky because I have tried for tickets for every tour and I have failed very time so I would die if I actually saw them, I would be ecstatic!!
  4. Be on Coronation Street - drama is my passion and from a young age I knew acting was where I wanted to be and I know it sounds cliché but, I feel most at home when I'm acting. That's probably because I would rather be someone else, but I just think that would be the most perfect job and I would absolutely enjoy every second if it.
  5. Go on a road trip of America - America is the place of dreams and I think it would be amazing to go and visit and see all of the sights. I think the people over there are so positive and it puts us to shame in some ways because we tend to be a bit more pessimistic and I think that they can be quite inspiring that they see everything as a good thing.

SOCIETY SUCKS
HIYA CHICKAS!

Okay so I know this is really cliché and everything but I really need to get it off my chest. Society is literally the worst thing ever; whoever set these un-reachable expectations for people has literally ruined peoples lives and has caused people to kill themselves. Who set the standards that to be beautiful you have to be skinny and have long wavy hair and be petite and quiet? People have made up these delusional expectations in their head and it's not right that this can control so many peoples lives. And I am a victim of it but that's not the point. People shouldn't feel so pressured to be this way because I believe that no-one is completely satisfied with the way they look and never will be, so why do we beat ourselves up about being this way. So many people dream of being skinny but the people that are skinny want to put on weight so it's all warped and contorted. Our perception of beauty is individual and in the end we will come to terms with our own beauty, but for now we are struggling. I'm not saying we should be over-confident and go around saying we are beautiful because that's conceited and stupid, I think we should just be content with ourselves and not live in fear of what other people think of us. We should go out there and be who we want to be without the stresses of society suppressing our self-image and i think we change the perception of beauty and know that everyone has beauty, you just have to find it!
Sorry for the rant and cheesy nature, I just had to write it down as a sort of therapy for me because at the moment it is taking over my life and I don't want it to. Anyway...

LIEBSTER BLOG TAG
HIYA CHICKAS!

I am dreadfully sorry for the lapse in my blogs I have had the most horrible few weeks in my life and I'm not going to go into it but I have learned to stop feeling sorry for myself and go out there and do something about it. She's probably not reading but it's all thanks to Issy for being my support system and I love you! Anyway, I was asked by Emily to do the Liebster Tag. What is it you may ask? Well you have to answer eleven questions that the person that tagged you chose, and at the end you tag three people and make up eleven answers for them. So here we go!

  1. Goals for 2014 - I know I shouldn't and I'm not encouraging anyone else to, but I want to lose weight. Not to fit into society or anything like that I just have no body confidence and last year I was skinnier and I was perfectly happy about myself. It has put me off wearing nice clothes and is restricting what I do, so I would like to lose a little but. I'm not doing it by starving myself though, I'm going on a 2 mile run every other day and have swapped unhealthy snacks with carrots because I absolutely love them! I would also love to be Head Girl and my opportunity is this year, so I am going to try my hardest to get that also. I'm not going to let it affect me if I do not get it because there is lots of people who want it just as much as me.
  2. Thing you love most about yourself and the thing you hate about yourself - I think the thing I love most is my work ethic because I'm not the smartest in every subject, but I believe that if you try really hard you can get to where you want, and I hope that will stick with me forever. The thing I hate about myself is my weight, however I am doing something about it so hopefully that can change!
  3. Favourite TV Programme - My favourite show is Friends because it's so hilarious and I just love it so much.
  4. Favourite Food - If you had asked me 2 weeks ago it would have been chocolate, but now it's Carrots because they are so juicy and tasty, yet they are good for you too.
  5. Favourite item of clothing you own and where you bought it - I don't wear it very often but it's a pastel pink button-up shirt with white polka dots. I love it because it's very versatile and can match most of my clothing so it's fabulous! It's from Topshop which is my favourite shop because of the vast amount of choice.
  6. How do you spend your weekend - I have a very busy weekend but on a Saturday morning I go riding for 1 hour at 11 o'clock, followed by lunch in a pretty cafe. In the afternoon I go to watch Huddersfield Town with my brother and Dad and love it so much, it's so exhilarating when they score. On a Sunday it is normally a lie-in and then homework. At the moment I am doing a Pantomime so my afternoon is spent rehearsing.
  7. What do you want to do when you're older - My dream is to be a character on Coronation Street, but I know how rare that happens, so my Plan B is to be a Doctor. I have always been interested in Medicine so a full time job of doing my interest is perfect. I would like to go to Cambridge University to study Medicine, and I plan on being in their world-renowned Dramatic Society, where lots of actors have had the step up into the entertainment industry.
  8. What do you spend your pocket money on - Clothes and trips out with my friends because those are the two things that I think it is most worth using for. I also save up for other things like phone cases and DVDs.
  9. Instagram to Twitter - I would say Instagram because I have more followers on there so it interests me more. For some weird reason all of a sudden I have gone from getting three likes to getting fifty likes and I don't know how!
  10. What's next on your purchase list - I am currently saving for a phone case with a photo of me with all my friends on the back. It's going to be perfect and I can't wait to buy it.
  11. Do you want any tattoos or piercings - I will never get it but I would love a treble clef behind my ear, because I love music and you listen to music through your ears. I already have my ears pierced but I would love more on one ear and my belly button pierced.
So now I pass it onto:
JADIE
ERICA
EMILY

I am really rubbish at choosing questions but Emily's were great so you can use them!

PERFUME/SPRAY OBSESSION

HIYA CHICKAS!

Today is another obsession and it is *drumroll* Perfumes/Sprays! I think I have so many purely and simply because I have an obsession with smelling nice. I just have to and I hate sitting next to people who stink so I would  hate to be that person. So here it is:

Our Moment
At first I bought this perfume simply because it's One Direction but now I love it so much and I would have bought it if it didn't have the name on. It's a hard to describe smell, but it's sweet and delicious and I use it too much aha.

Victoria's Secret Cherry Blossom and Peach
I got this as I smelt someone's at school and I fell in love with it. It's smells so lovely and in my opinion it reminds me of the first blossom of the trees in Spring. It's relatively cheap as well to say it's Victoria's Secret.

Hollister
This is my staple spray on a day to day basis and it smells like the beach. It is that sickly smell of candy floss and sea spray combined and I gets me all sentimental. But I'm running out of it and it makes me sad.

DKNY Be Delicious
This purely and simply tastes of apples and that's no exaggeration. It smells so delicious and it's making my mouth water just thinking about it!

So that's my blog post finished! I hope you like it.

FILM FAVES

HIYA CHICKAS!

I'm so sorry about the gap in Blogging my laptop broke so it was rather stressful! Anyway I'm doing this on my iPad which means I can't do photos so it's a favourites today I'm afraid. But here is my 5 favourite films and why:

  1. Love Actually - I love this so much mainly because it's girly and sums up love. It was the first of those kinds of rom coms and as everyone knows the first is always the best. I love how all the stories slowly align slightly at the end and I can't watch it without crying
  2. Shawshank Redemption - I'm can't say much about this because I'll ruin it for you but I love it for the twist at the end. It's so shocking your jaw drops to the floor and also I love anything about crime and prison because it's so different to the innocent life I lead aha.
  3. Mama - This is the best horror film I have ever seen and it's so thrilling. The fact that it's about 2 little girls and it doesn't have a necessarily happy ending means that it's more shocking than you can imagine.
  4. Mean Girls - This is every single teenage girls favourite film mainly because it is an over exaggerated view of our lives and it means so much. It's so hilarious but it's so relatable I can't help but love it.
  5. The Harry Potter series - I know this is not one film but as it's a running storyline I count it as one. They're so exciting and they combine everything that you would want in a film. I also grew up with them being released so I practically know them off by heart and they were a part of my childhood.
So that's it! I'll probably do an obsession tomorrow but I'm not making any promises because it's so hard on my iPad. Thank you so much for all the views I never thought I would get this much of a reception!
